Who is da bronx gallery?

da bronx gallery is owned by Michael Nader Dewhirst and Richard Gibbon, in Melbourne, Victoria.

We are pleased to be able to show you the images we have taken over the last 10 or more years - in Melbourne, around Australia and in our travels to other countries.

In Australia, see images of the wonderful National Parks in Tasmania, the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, the outback of the Territory, the amazing Western Australia and our great cities of Melbourne and Sydney.  And so much more ...

Our overseas travels have taken us to China and Hong Kong, New Zealand, Bali, Thailand, USA, Canada, Greece, Turkey and Egypt.  And there is so much more to see and experience.

SCAP 2009 Finalist!

Michael's photo of a guard standing outside the Olympic (or Birds Nest) Stadium in Beijing, from Nov 2008, was nominated as a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Art Prize for 2009.

Michael was very pleased to have been selected as a finalist out of approx 1500 entries submitted from around Australia.  Michael was one of only 3 photographers who made the final cut.

Michael and Richard flew to the Sunshine Coast in August 2009 for the announcement of the winner at the Sunshine Coast Gallery in Calloundra.
